A Word about Studio Hours

Serene Abundance Studio Space (SASS) occupies multiple roles in one physical location- an art therapy office, studio to working artists, a gallery and special event space, and group workshop/class space... So the hours the studio is "open" to the public vary depending on what is going on. And there's usually always something going on!

The Studio is open "by appointment" Tuesday through Saturday, 10am-6pm, by calling or texting 503-839-6224 or emailing serena@sereneabundancemagic.com.

We host many activities and events throughout the year- most are ongoing, but some are limited-time only. Subscribe to blog posts HERE, visit the Studio page on Facebook HERE, or check out the Instagram feed HERE to keep up on the latest details!

You can also view ongoing group listings on my Psychology Today page HERE.

Ongoing Event Descriptions

2nd Saturday Gallery Tour- 3-5pm

The Studio will be open each 2nd Saturday as part of Florence's monthly Gallery Tour, featuring local artists' studios, galleries, and arts venues all across the city. During the hours of 3-5PM, you’ll enjoy great local art, interactions with fellow patrons of the arts and artists, receptions, refreshments, live entertainment and community.

Look for the colorful 2nd Saturday banner in the window at participating locations. Visit 2ndSaturdayGalleryTour.com for the most up-to-date information!

Quarterly Art Exhibits

Approximately every 3-4 months, the Studio will host a new art exhibition that will feature topics and themes such as art as a healing force, personal expression and narrative, works by local and regional artists, and more. Check the SASS calendar above, blog, or visit Serene Abundance Studio on Facebook to learn about upcoming exhibits and calls for art, and view photos of past events.

Art Swaps

Offered a few times per year, Art Swaps are your chance to pass along any extra or unused art and craft supplies, tools, patterns, etc. and potentially pick up new-to-you goodies you might just love!

Free and open to the public, Art Swaps encourage re-use of materials rather than throwing them away. They also provide access to arts enrichment for those folks who might not be able to afford to buy materials on their own. SASS also occasionally partners with other groups in the Florence area to bring you Swapping activity, such as at Earth Day on the Boardwalk
